Trento is located between Bolzano and Verona, on the bank of the Adige River, surrounded by Monte Bondone, Paganella and Valsugana.
Trento's historic center is really bustling. Here you can find universities, schools and hospitals.
Trento is surrounded by wonderful fields, orchards and vineyards. Trento is crossed by the river Adige which opens out into the Adriatic Sea. Along the river a bicycle path has been built. It is to be recommended especially in spring. It is suited also for families with children. The path continues northwards in direction of Bolzano and the Eisacktal Valley.
Just a few kilometers from Trento there we have the Monte Bondone, also called "l'Alpe di Trento". In winter here you can find a skiing area suited for all types of skiers.
On the Monte Bondone, near "Conca delle Viote", you can visit the "Centro di Ecologia Alpina" and the botanical garden. You can also undertake an excursion to the "Riserva Naturale Integrale delle Tre Cime del Bondone" (Cornet, Dos d'Abraham and Cima Verde).
