The Rosengarten-Latemar area is rewarding area for mountain bikers. The scenery is amazing, the trails and cycling tracks, too. Whoever likes to experience mountains and not only to bike them, is on the right place in the Rosengarten-Latemar area.
Here you can bike from February till November; the bike season really never ends! Here we have a nice touring tips for bike cracks, who like challenging ascents and difficult downhills.
The tour begins at tourism office in Welschnofen. From there you have to bike in direction of Bozen and after 500 meters you must cross a bridge to get on path 10A to Karersee Lake. Arrived at a path junction take path 27. Soon you will come to the Geigerhof farm. There turn to the left and on path 25and 8 you will get to the Bewallerhof farm. From there you bike on the street to Obereggen.
To get back take the path to the Laner Alm mountain pasture and arrived there path 10A and the red-white path to Weißhof Farm. There you have to take path 7 to get back to the starting point.
The difficult tour is 29 km long: you will need about 3,5 hours.
