Giro d'Italia 2016

The Giro d'Italia, is, next to the Tour de France, the main event in international cycling and so it is not surprising that the best athletes in the world will participate. Like almost every year, the "Giro" and his stars are going to visit Trentino and South Tyrol.

This year will be four the stages that will touch various parts of the Trentino Alto Adige! The tour, in fact, on May 24th, goes from Tirano  up to Canazei, Val di Fassa, facing a distance of 219 km. The following day, however, from Moena  the riders will reach the Ortisei.

The tour will start again on May 26th with the 19th stage that leads from Innichenn to Piancavallo.

Cycling enthusiasts can not miss the chance to see their idols to race through the streets of Trentino Alto Adige.

The tour, in fact, on May 21st, goes from Alpago up to Corvara, Alta Badia, facing a distance of 210 km and more than 1200 meters in altitude for a stages defined of high mountain. The following day, however, from Castelrotto the riders will reach the Seiser Alm, during the individual time trial of 10.8 kilometers.
After these two challenging stages there will be a day of rest. The tour will start again on May 24th with the 16th stage that leads from Bressanone to Andalo, Trentino. The next it start instead from Molveno to Cassano d'Adda, in a stage of 196 km.
Cycling enthusiasts can not miss the chance to see their idols to race through the streets of Trentino Alto Adige.
