Dolomiti Balloonfestival
From 5th January to 13th January 2019 the popular
Dolomiti Balloon Festival is taking place in Toblach and it isn't
difficult to fill people with enthusiasm for these colorful flying
balloons. Kids as adults are delighted by them and anyone who wants
to have a look at the Hochpustertal from above, can realize this
dream here.
The highlights of the festival are of course the audience
flights, which are offered continuously. So everyone, who is brave
enough, can climb into the balloon together with a professional,
lift off and forget the rest of the world for some moments
while floating across the Dolomites.
Also for those, who prefer to have solid ground beneath their
feet, there is much to see. Especially the balloon-nightglow is an
eye-catcher, when the artists of the sky light up alternately to
the rhythm of music.
As you probably know, in January it can get very cold and quite
uncomfortable in Hochpustertal. Therefore, the organizers
of the Balloon Festival are always keen to offer the guests warm
drinks and strengthening meals. Anyone, who has fallen in love with
the traditional products, shouldn't miss the Tyrolean farmer's
market at the beginning of the festival.
Of course, there's something in the program for the children,
too: a bouncy castle, sleigh rides and much more will ensure that
the kids are having fun. The Dolomiti Balloon Festival is a winter
adventure for the whole family!
On 7th July 2018, takes place the Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike in Niederdorf, not to be miss!
In Pustertal at the end of June, itheld an event truly unique: the International Choir Festival of South Tyrol.
