Laterally to the Pustertal Valley in the holiday region of Kronplatz, among Rieserferner and Deferegger Alps, is the wonderful Gsies Valley. The valley is a paradise for lovers of nature! With its 18 km long, the valley begins in the village of Welsberg and expands northward. The valley is crossed by a road very comfortable that allows you to reach and cross it easily.
The valley is very sunny and it is surrounded by forest of conifers. In this area the agriculture is very important, here there are many farms active also today.

Also lovers of ski have here many possibilities, only few kilometers far there are the slopes of Kronplatz, the most famous ski area of South Tyrol.
