Holidays in Toblach
Toblach is situated at 1,250m above sea level, in the Hochpustertal
Valley. South from Toblach we find the charming "Tre Cime di
Lavaredo".
Toblach has been of great economic importance since the 13th
century. Until the First World War it was a popular holiday
destination for the most important people of the time.
Toblach is an excellent starting point for
hiking tours and excursions in the Dolomites. Also
the ski slopes Hounould, Helm and Rotwand are just a few minutes
away by car.
In Toblach there are also easy ski slopes, suitable
especially for beginners. Toblach's lake is very
beautiful. Here you can spend pleasant moments, in summer as well
as in winter. And all of that with the breathtaking mountain
scenery in the background!
Also Cortina is
just around the corner. The city is perfect for a shopping tour.
And the best: you can even reach it by cross-country skiing. If you
are a real adventurer, brave and without fear of heights, Toblach's
"Adventure Park" is the
perfect place for you!
Toblach is also culturally very interesting.
The Parish is one of South Tyrol's most beautiful baroque churches
of the 18th century. But also for music-lovers Toblach has a lot to
offer! Every summer the Gustav Mahler Music Weeks
take place in Toblach's Cultural Center! An absolute must for
lovers of classical music!
