The Pragser Wildsee Lake - a magic place in the middle of the Dolomites

The Pragser Wildsee Lake is situated in the sunny Prags Valley in the South Tyrolean Dolomites at 1,469 m above sea level. The lake is surrounded by the mountains the Apostel, the Seekofel, the Herrenstein and the Monte Sella di Sennes. They frame an absolutely magical Place in the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Prags: the Pragser Wildsee Lake.

The Pragser Wildsee Lake with its surrounding mountain peaks and mountain pastures is a popular hiking area. The 1 and a half hour long walk around the lake is an unforgettable experience for everyone! Excursions to the Mount Herrenstein or the Mount Seekofel offer you breathtaking views over the whole Nature Park and the turquoise shimmering lake. South from the bank of the Pragser Wildsee Lake begins the Dolomites High Altitude Trail 1. It leads over Sennes and Fanes to the region of Trentino.

Very popular is also renting a rowboat. You can paddle to the middle of the lake and enjoy the sun, the up-and down of the boat and the beauty of the landscape!
