Plose - a skiing area for everyone!

The 2,465 m high Mount Plose is the local mountain of the city of Brixen in South Tyrol. In winter there is a well developed skiing area with 43 km of slopes, a nice snowpark and a respectable cross-country ski runs network near the Valley Station in St. Andrä.

The great panoramic view over the Dolomites Mountains is that what skiers and snowboarders appreciate most. On the south side of Mount Plose there are many nice and not very difficult slopes always above the timber line. From the slopes there you have the best views over Sella, Langkofel and Geißler mountains: the view is simply breathtaking!

Most of the slopes are easy and medium difficult. We would therefore recommend the skiing area Plose to families and beginners: there is the right slope for every taste! The valley run "Trametsch" is the only black slope in the Plose area and the longest one in whole South Tyrol.

In Brixen however you can go shopping or sightseeing after a day on the slopes. Or, what's really great: a jump into the swimming pool of the Acquarena!
