Dolomites told the First World War story!

The Skitour Grande Guerra is a skiing tour on the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites. The mountains were scenery of the First World War. You can do it either on your ski or on your snowboard.

During the tour you can admire the breathtaking views over famous mountain groups and peaks such as Sella, Marmolada, Civetta, Pelmo, Tofane, Lagazuoi, Settsass and Sassongher.

Along the way, you can still observe the remains of the war. You can follow the tacks of the soldiers, hike on the ancient trenches and  visit the caves they were hiding in from the enemy.

The slopes of the ski tour Grande Guerra are not too demanding and suitable for everyone. But we recommend leaving early in the morning. The tour is quite long.

The tour has a length of about 100 km. Different possible starting points are the Civetta skiing area the Arabba or the Malga Ciapela!
