Vittorio Veneto, 2 old villages in 1

Vittorio Veneto is a city near Belluno at the feet of the Dolomites. It had its beginning at the union of two ancient medieval villages, Serravalle and Ceneda.

Serravalle has always been more important from the commercial point of view. Along the river Meschia numerous businesses were held: mills, sawmills, paper mills and the production of swords. An absolute must-see is the clock tower. Today it replaces the door that once separated Serravalle and Cenadi.

Ceneda is more cultural. Here you can visit the "Museo della Battaglia" meseum.
Not far from that you find the castle of St. Martino that used to be the bishop's residence.
