Holidays in Pinzolo
Pinzolo is not far from Madonna di Campiglio and has very
ancient origins.
Pinzolo offers you a vast number of activities, both in summer and
in winter. The numerous skiing slopes are suited especially for
families.
For people interested in
culture and art we suggest a visit at the church
of San Vigilio. The beautiful church is famous for the "Danze
Macabre", a fresco from Simone Bachenis. Other interesting valleys
in the area are the Val di Genova valley and the Val Nambrone
valley. Both offer unique natural spectacles. Most of the
municipality's area makes part of the Adamello Brenta
Nature Park.
The village of Pinzolo is spread along the banks of the Sarca
River, about 800 meters above sea level and manages to combine
tranquility and dynamism.
Pinzolo is the ideal starting point for hiking and mountain
bike tours. It offers a bike path and many dirt paths, fun to
do with children or friends.
Even the famous successful Italian football team of
Juventus spends its summer retreat in Pinzolo.
